Ohod - Al Nasr 67-74 SBL round 6 most important game was a victory of Al Nasr over one of their biggest challengers Ohod 74-67 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ohod. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for swingman Brandon Austin (198-1994, college: NW Florida St.) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Antonio Campbell (206-1994, college: Ohio) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jordan Washington (203-1993, college: Iona, agency: Interperformances) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and point guard James Justice (178-1989, college: UT Southern) added 25 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Ohod. Al Nasr (5-1) moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Fateh. Ohod at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Al Nasr is looking forward to face Al Adalh (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ohod's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Medina Al Ansar. Al Ahly's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Serbian power forward Aleksandar Marelja (207-1992, agency: BeoBasket) with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Darious Clark (193-1990, college: Slippery Rock, agency: Domantay Sports) scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Al-Taawon players scored in double figures. Al Ahly have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Al-Taawon lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom place with five games lost. They share the position with Al Ansar and Al Salam. Al Ahly will play against Duba Club (#8) in Tabuk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al-Taawon will play on the road against Al Salam (#11) in Al-Awamiyah and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Guard Brian Halums (196-1997, college: UAFS) notched 23 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Justin Everett (206-1996, college: Humboldt St.) supported him with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) by center Anthony McClain (211-1988, college: Cincinnati) did not help to save the game for Al Salam. Forward Nick Stover (198-1993, college: USA) added 21 points and 10 rebounds. Al Salam's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Even a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds by Guyanese-American center Anthony Moe (206-1990, college: Millersville) did not help to save the game for Al Ansar. American forward Gerard Tarin (206-1996, college: Nova SE) added 32 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Al Fateh have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Nasr. Al Ansar lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Al Salam and Al-Taawon.
